Ukraine to review wheat standards
Ukraines agriculture ministry is likely to review its current wheat standards, reducing the number of wheat classes and adjusting quality indicators, it said on Monday
"As part of work on the standard, proposals for reducing the number of non-food wheat classes are currently being considered, as well as adjusting the quality indicators for wheat," the ministry said in a statement.
It gave no more details.
Ukraine, among the leading grain producers and exporters, harvested 26.1 million tonnes of wheat in 2017 and exported 17.2 million tonnes worth $2.83 billion.
